Our Client, an international Independent Power Producer (IPP) with a longstanding presence in Poland, is actively expanding its portfolio of Wind, PV, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced BESS Lead Expert to join their team.
Role Overview:
The BESS Lead Expert will play a pivotal role in bridging the development, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), and commercial aspects of the company's operations. This position is essential for enhancing the quality and performance of the BESS portfolio, ensuring the company's continued success as an Independent Power Producer.
In this role you would:
- co-create strategy for utility-scale BESS portfolio development
- manage commercial aspects of stand-alone and hybrid BESS projects
- provide due diligences of BESS projects
- support procurement team in choice of BESS technology providers
- manage all stakeholders involved in BESS portfolio
- cooperate with development, EPC, M&A and energy trading departments
- report directly to the board members
Candidate for this position should:
- have extensive knowledge in field of BESS, power markets and solutions for BESS commercialization
- engineering education would be an asset
- engineering experience with BESS would be an asset
- have proven track record in utility-scale BESS projects
