NES Fircroft are working alongside an Oil & Gas client seeking a Business Services & Facilities Officer to join their team.


Location: Perth CBD
Length of contract: Initial 6 months with potential for extension
Roster: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8 hours per day
Pay rate: Negotiable



Regulatory Assistant Responsibilities:
 

  • Ensuring delivery and continuous improvement of high quality, cost effective and fit-for purpose business services (including facilities management/maintenance, travel; procurement/purchasing, reception, and other services as required) to the client.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining adherence to administrative systems, processes and policies to ensure compliance with agency standards, including provision of training to staff across the agency as required.
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to provide input and support into a range of activities including crisis management, corporate induction, participation in cross-functional working groups and other activities as required.
  • Building, managing and maintaining productive working relationships with external stakeholders to enable provision of one-off and ongoing services (e.g. provision of ergonomic assessments, building and facilities maintenance/refurbishment, supply of goods, etc.)
  • Managing contracts to ensure work is completed as specified and compliant with legislation, relevant standards and contractual obligations; and
  • Complying with business policies and processes, including financial, regulatory, communications, information management and human resources practices, and the Australian Public Service Values, Code of Conduct and Employment Principles.
 

We are looking to hear from candidates with experience in:
 

  • Demonstrated experience in facility management, delivery of business services across an organisation and office administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in tender and procurement processes, and contract and budget management/administration.
  • Highly developed stakeholder relationship management (internal and external), communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities concurrently and respond effectively to unanticipated events and/or changing priorities.
  • Highly developed problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to develop fit-for-purpose solutions.
