Main Responsibilities
- Calibration of marine survey equipment to manufacturers and industry standards.
- Accurately recording results in line with company standards.
- Updating, revising and creating calibration processes and procedures.
- Servicing of instruments and completing minor repairs.
- Monitoring future work requirements and planning accordingly.
- Organising and overseeing dispatch of equipment for external calibration and ensuring completion.
- Supporting the wider technical team with ad-hoc engineering work as required.
Requirements of Role
- Previous experience in an Electrical Calibration, Quality inspection, QC, Testing, Fault finding, or Verification role.
- Working knowledge of electronic fault finding, ideally to component level.
- Ability to demonstrate competency with MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Confident to learn new PC based software.
- Have an eye for detail, work methodically and be able to work under own initiative.
