We are seeking an experienced Capital Projects Program Manager to join our client's team in Calgary, AB. This role will focus on overseeing a diverse portfolio of facility projects within the program, ensuring that project controls, cost management, and scheduling are executed effectively and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project controls (10+ years), with a deep understanding of cost controls and scheduling processes. This is a full-time office-based role (Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day), with the option to work from home on Fridays.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Capital Projects Program Manager to join our client's team in Calgary, AB. This role will focus on overseeing a diverse portfolio of facility projects within the program, ensuring that project controls, cost management, and scheduling are executed effectively and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project controls (10+ years), with a deep understanding of cost controls and scheduling processes. This is a full-time office-based role (Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day), with the option to work from home on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 20-25 facility projects ranging in value from $500,000 to $3 million, with select projects valued between $10 million to $15 million.
- Oversee project scheduling, cost controls, and reporting to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
- Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to drive project success.
- Utilize Primavera P6 for scheduling and project tracking.
- Create and maintain detailed project cost reports, ensuring accurate forecasts and tracking.
- Provide expert guidance on project controls processes and tools, ensuring all projects align with organizational standards and goals.
- Assist in improving and streamlining project management and controls processes.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, with a focus on cost controls and scheduling.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management.
- Advanced Excel skills are required (including pivot tables, formulas, and complex data analysis).
- Experience with JD Edwards and Omega 365/PIMs is an asset but not required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The role is based in Calgary, AB, with an opportunity for remote work on Fridays.
- This is a contract-to-permanent role, with potential for long-term employment based on performance.
