Civil Project Manager

NES Fircroft is collaborating with a global leader in the mining industry to find an experienced Civil Project Manager for a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role is based in Brisbane CBD.

As a Civil Project Manager, you will provide client-side project management expertise to drive the delivery of several projects across a portfolio of assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage delivery of designs in the civil and geotechnical disciplines.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop, plan, and deliver project-specific requirements and objectives over several phases.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to solve complex problems.
• Manage project costs and schedules according to approved plans and be accountable for overall project performance.
• Ensure delivery meets required quality control and assurance standards.

What You Need to Succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or relevant trade and industry experience.
• Previous experience in civil infrastructure or mining sector project delivery is highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships in a complex environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and mentor a project engineer and junior project staff, promoting a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
