Completion Engineer – ISO / Structural / Area

 
As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Completion Engineer – ISO / Structural / Area with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
This position is led from Stord and is not a rotation
 
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
What will you be doing?

• Oversee Mechanical Completion (MC) activities within your area of responsibility for the project.
• Plan, prepare, organize, and execute MC activities in alignment with project procedures and plans.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) aspects are assessed, planned, implemented, and followed up for all MC activities.
• Provide input on the budget and cost for MC activities in your area of responsibility.
• Collaborate in establishing governing documents, procedures, and work instructions for MC activities.
• Lead and execute MC activities within your assigned responsibility.

 
Qualifications we think you should have:

• Technical or Bachelor’s degree (relevant work experience can compensate for lack of formal education).
• Strong knowledge of work processes within the relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in EPC processes within Topside, Facilities, or Renewables segments.
• Software Skills: MIPS, MS Office 365, PCS (Pims, ProCoSys), Autodesk Simulate
