Completion Engineer Electrical

 
As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Completion Engineer Electrical with  experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
 
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for overseeing and following up on dedicated systems with tasks such as:
 

• Preparing Commissioning Boundary Documents, Procedures, Job Cards, and CPCL/CR.
• Collaborating daily with the site/offshore Commissioning Team.
• Actively participating in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and commissioning activities at supplier premises.
• Handling Commissioning Queries (CQ) and contributing to Commissioning Package Handover to Operations.
• Attending meetings as requested by the Completion Manager.
• Performing occasional offshore trips when necessary.

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Strong expertise and extensive experience in commissioning high and low voltage systems, both onshore and offshore.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of commissioning experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 12 years of commissioning experience.
• Proficiency in Norwegian/Scandinavian language
