About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient Construction Manager to oversee major facilities projects from their Calgary office. This role requires a leader who can confidently manage crews, execute large-scale projects, and deliver results with minimal intervention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the execution of facilities construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar budgets with precision and accountability.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring effective coordination and execution without the need for direct oversight.
  • Solve complex problems independently and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in heavy facilities construction (pipeline specialists need not apply).
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing substantial budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver projects with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Calgary-based, with availability for an office-based role.
