Oversee the construction of a commercial-scale plant within an existing cement facility. This pivotal role will ensure the successful execution of construction activities, monitor safety standards, and address emerging issues. You will play a key part in the project’s turnover and close-out activities while maintaining clear communication with both contractors and the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction Management: Oversee all aspects of construction management on behalf of the owner, including project controls, daily supervision, weekly safety audits, and RFI management.
  • Site Supervision: Actively participate in field activities, daily construction meetings, and reviews, ensuring effective coordination between all parties.
  • Contractor Oversight: Direct and manage general contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
  • RFI Management: Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) efficiently to prevent delays and maintain continuous contractor productivity.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with specialty contractors and client representatives to maintain project alignment and ensure smooth execution.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Assist in developing the mobilization plan, maintaining the Level 4 schedule, reviewing Construction Work Packages (CWPs), and evaluating contractors’ construction plans, procedures, rental equipment forecasts, and execution strategies.
  • Cost & Resource Monitoring: Monitor costs, rental equipment usage, material preparation, work front availability, and three-week lookahead schedules to ensure smooth operations.
  • Daily Reporting: Track daily activities, audit manpower, and approve Labor Equipment and Material (LEM) reports as required.
  • Permit Review & Coordination: Review contractors' daily work permits and liaise with the site owner to ensure compliance.
  • Progress & Safety Reporting: Provide regular progress reports, manpower projections, and expenditure forecasts to management. Lead and participate in site meetings, including safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • HSE Compliance: Conduct field walkdowns and safety audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to maintain a safe and compliant worksite.
