Consultant - Estimator

Aker Solutions are looking for an experienced and highliy competent Consultant Estimator for the ALNG Partial Debottlenecking contract. 
The role has been determined as outside of IR35.

Deliverables to include:
 

• Facilitate the process and preparation of top down, screening estimated and detail Level 3 & 4 estimates consistent with scope definition and in accordance with estimating procedures and guidelines, and the Company Risk Management system
• Maintenance of change request registers and MOC processes
• Ensuring that Companies system is updated and maintained with estimate submissions and approvals
• Provide feedback from completed projects and support the input of information into the database on in-house information related to company rates, norms and prices
• Attend project meetings as required and interface as appropriate with
• Project Engineering and Discipline Engineers to ensure the necessary take-off information is made available at the right time to prepare the project estimates
• other team members, including procurement, planning and contract administration in the pursuit of effective cost control
• senior projects personnel when carrying out comparative studies

Role requirements:
 

• Highly Numerate
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to analyse technical and contractual documents
• Ability to analyse estimates
• Ability to identify risk and opportunities
• High level of computer literacy, with expertise in Excel

Ideal Quaifications:
 

• +10 years experience in North Sea or other Oil & Gas Estimating
• QS or other professional qualifications, HNC/HND (preferred)
• Member of Association of Cost Engineers (preferred)
