Consultant - internal control
 
Contract period: 21.04.2025 - 30.04.2026
Location: Stavanger, Bergen, Oslo

Main Tasks:
  • Establish the ICOSR strategy, scope and priorities together with SSU and AFC Financial Reporting.  
  • Establish and manage ICOSR governance and the annual ICOSR wheel. 
  • Assist the organisation with establishing/improving, maintaining and quality assuring governing documents and control design (including IT general controls and entity level controls).  
  • Advise the organisation on risks and assurance activities.  
  • Manage inter-dependencies (and synergies) with ICOFR.  
  • Manage the ICOSR IT support system (SAP GRC) and support the organisation with reports, dashboards etc.  
  • Manage ICOSR self-assessment process, conduct risk-based testing activities and report coordinated status of ICOSR to the board audit committee.  
  • Coordinate dialogue with the external auditor on key ICOSR matters and status.  
  • Conduct general ICOSR communications, training and support to the organisation as needed. 

Qualifications:
  • Masters in Accounting, Auditing or similar subject.  
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of working with consulting, audit, accounting, internal audit or similar.  
  • Experience from key controls performance and development of internal control frameworks is an advantage.  
  • Strong professional skills with Internal control and CSRD requirements.  
  • Ability to communicate complex professional matters to those not specialised in ICOSR.  
  • High integrity.  
  • Solution oriented.  
  • Excellent collaborative skills.
