Currently recruiting for a Contract Engineer (Foundations) to join the Procurement & Contract Team of a large, International Energy Operator. You will be working across their portfolio of Offshore Wind Projects at pre-FID stage.

Role Responsibilities
 
  • Organise the market consultation & negotiate fabrication contracts (with capacity reservation) for offshore foundations / structures
    • Prepare tender deliverables
    • Administrate and run the call for tender
    • Qualify suppliers
    • Negotiate contractual terms and conditions / variations in agreements
    • Present outcomes to management
    • Negotiate contracts (Agreement & Exhibit) for offshore wind foundation fabrication
  • Support the procurement strategy for OFW foundations
    • Consolidate market intelligence for this procurement segment
    • Consolidate supplier intelligence for foundations suppliers
    • Run multidisciplinary workshops (structural engineers, legal experts, project engineers)
    • Support various renewables projects for contract engineering and contract expertise coordination in Pre-FID phase

Role Requirements
 
  • Contractual and commercial negotiation experience with industrial equipment manufacturers / major construction project stakeholders
  • Minimum 8 years demonstrated experience in industrial procurement / contracts engineering, ideally within the renewable energy sector
  • Knowledge of energy related challenges and industrial construction techniques
  • Solid understanding of industrial projects within renewable energies or oil & gas
  • Strong knowledge of EPC / FIDIC Contracts & Call for Tender process
  • Experience of complex construction contracts negotiation
  • Strong communication skills
  • English speaking is mandatory 
  • Must be able to work in Paris 3 days per week
  • Engineering or commercial degree (Bachelor’s or above) is mandatory
