Contract Lead
 
Contract period: 01.12.2024 - 29.06.2025
Location: Stavanger or Bergen

Main Tasks:
  • As a procurement professional in the Business Services Procurement category, you will together with the business line ensure the best commercial agreements by setting and realising strategic directions and capitalise on market opportunities 
  • A Contract Lead is responsible for Company’s procurement activities related to establish and manage agreements 
  • Holds the mandate to legally commit the Company to suppliers. Here you will take on strategic procurement responsibilities and challenging tasks 
  • Lead enquiry processes (strategy, enquiry, evaluation, negotiation) 
  • Implement and operationalize new agreements 
  • Framework agreements, project specific contracts and call offs  
  • Shape the future global contract portfolio through segment strategies together with business line and suppliers 
  • Identify business cases and drive change in contract relationship to maximise value for company 
  • Ensure contract compliance, identify, and manage risk (SSU, commercial, financial, local requirements) 
  • Stakeholder management in relevant business line together with Company Representative (CR) and Contract Owner (CO) 
  • Contribute to correct and optimal use of agreements in collaboration with Company Representative, including supporting the business line

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Master degree in supply chain management, finance, economics or law 
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within contracting work 
  • Good communication skills (written and oral), in English and/or Norwegian 
  • Are performance driven, have a strong interest for commercial aspects, being cost-conscious, are engaged and proactive, curious and have a high level of professional- as well as personal integrity
