Location: Arnhem / Hybrid (2 days on-site, including Wednesdays)
Start: 1 May 2025
End: 31 December 2025
Hours: 32–40 per week

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join a leading organization in the Dutch high-voltage energy infrastructure sector. This role supports the continuity of strategic procurement and contract execution for critical materials and technical installations related to national grid expansion and maintenance projects.

The organization plays a vital role in ensuring the long-term reliability and sustainability of the electricity network—managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects across both national and international levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain category-specific contract frameworks for materials and systems used in grid infrastructure

  • Lead supplier communication, manage tender processes (incl. EU tenders), and assess bids

  • Review and approve purchase orders, change requests, and contract call-offs

  • Conduct supplier performance reviews and support issue resolution/escalation when needed

  • Collaborate closely with project teams, legal, and procurement to align contracts with delivery schedules

  • Ensure full compliance with applicable procurement regulations and internal governance

Required Skills & Experience
  • HBO/Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in contract or category management within technical or infrastructure sectors

  • Solid experience with EU public procurement procedures and tools like Mercell

  • Proficient in SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent in Dutch and English
