Role Responsibilities
- Contract Management
- Lead the timely and accurate implementation of contractual obligations, claim management and Variations/Amendments
- Exercise the rights and obligations within our contracts and performance-manage teams both internally and externally
- Cost Forecasting
- Develop and manage cost forecasts for input to business case
- Stakeholder Relationships
- Build strong relationships with Project Managers, Planners, Contract Managers, and contractors
- Provide concise and consistent communication
- Risk Management
- Take part in contract and execution risk reviews and maintain risk management updates
- Cost Control
- Minimise project costs and risks while enhancing value for money
- Perform risk, value management, and cost control during construction
- Contractual Advice
- Provide advice and support to resolve contractual claims and disputes, including creating Variation Order and Amendments
Role Requirements
- Methodical and Process-Driven
- You excel at gathering and analysing data to accurately assess issues. Your decisions are well-founded, and you can confidently back your judgments
- Experience
- Previous experience as a Contract Manager with a solid understanding of infrastructure projects and FIDIC contracts is required
- Adaptability
- You should be able to travel to project worksites in the UK and Western Europe on a twice per month basis
- Communication Skills
- You are an effective communicator, unafraid to seek assistance when needed
