Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Cost Analyst to join our team in Lloydminster.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, scheduling, cost management, cost analysis, and cost reconciliation, with specific experience in SAP MOC (Management of Change).

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze cost data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Cost Reconciliation: Reconcile project costs with budgeted amounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • SAP MOC: Utilize SAP MOC to manage changes in project scope, ensuring all changes are documented and approved.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed cost reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in cost management, cost analysis, and cost reconciliation.
  • Experience in project close-out and contractor quality assurance verification.
  • Proficiency in SAP, particularly SAP MOC.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
