Key responsibilities include:

Program Development
* Design and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives
* Develop data governance operating models, including roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes
* Create and maintain data governance documentation, including policies, standards, and procedures
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data governance requirements and develop tailored solutions
* Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the data governance program

Training and Communication
* Develop comprehensive data governance training materials and curricula for various audiences
* Deliver training sessions to educate staff on data governance principles, policies, and procedures
* Create awareness campaigns to promote data governance best practices across the organization
* Facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders in data governance initiatives
* Develop communication plans to effectively disseminate data governance information

Analysis and Assessment
* Conduct data governance maturity assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
* Analyze business processes to identify data governance integration points
* Document and map data flows to understand data lineage and governance requirements
* Assess the impact of regulatory changes on data governance practices
* Evaluate the effectiveness of data governance controls and recommend improvements

Stakeholder Engagement
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data governance initiatives
* Facilitate data governance committee meetings and working groups
* Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units on data governance matters
* Build relationships with key stakeholders to drive adoption of data governance practices
* Gather and document business requirements for data governance tools and solutions

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Management, Computer Science, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles
* Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences
* Experience developing training materials and delivering training sessions
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
