Direct Reports: 10 roles (6 Direct Reports and 4 Indirect Reports)
Location: Oslo, Norway
Duration: 12 months initially, possible extension up to 24 months

Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Delivery Manager has arisen. This role will oversee the successful delivery of a new large-scale green hydrogen and green ammonia production plant This role encompasses the management of all Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning activities, ensuring that the project meets its technical, financial, and timeline goals.

Key Position Specific Responsibilities:
•Lead and accountable for the project delivery from detailed engineering to commissioning, on budget and schedule, to the H&S, Environmental and quality standards.
•Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
•Manage, collaborate with and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, regulatory bodies and third parties ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
•Provide leadership in HSE and QA/QC, approving relevant plans and monitoring effective implementation, supporting project and corporate quality audits where necessary.
•Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards.
•Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth project execution.
•Ensure all project activities comply with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
•Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
•Drive value improvement through all aspects of the Project EPC.
•Establish and adequately resource the requirements of the project, including staffing, office facilities, IT infrastructure and IM strategy with regular review of demobilisation plans of the workforce and project progress to minimise cost and overheads wherever possible.
•Manages the establishment of the mechanisms and specific processes and elements for external and internal progress monitoring and reporting against the project plan.
•Responsible for all management, commercial and technical decisions relating to the project. Consults with Project Director on major issues relating to the Contracts and/or Contractor relationships and implements recommendations for resolution.


Person Specification
Experience
•Proven ability to manage large-scale projects (US$200M +), including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
•Significant background on the client side, managing large EPC contracts.
•International experience of large process plants preferred
•Strong team management experience.
•Management of multicultural teams.
•Understanding of green hydrogen and green ammonia production technologies and processes.
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse project team.
•Proficiency in project management software and familiarity with engineering design software
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in project delivery within the energy or chemical sector.
