We are currently having an opening for Major MNC company - Natural Gas/LNG industry and Power
Position: Director Business Development
Experience: 10 years of prior experience in a commercial, business development, project origination and development role
Education:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Engineering, Business Administration / Master’s degree or MBA from a reputable university preferred.
Location: Work from home (as and when required to be on business trip in PAN India)
Contract Duration: 2-year renewable contract
Payroll: NESFircroft
Duties and Responsibilities
Includes but are not limited to the following activities.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for India, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Identify new market opportunities and assess the competitive landscape to position the company as a market leader in downstream LNG/gas business
• Drives strategy for growth in the downstream segments of the LNG/gas value chain, including the formation of partnerships with local companies, technical partners (e.g. technology providers) and/or strategic investors
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, downstream
customers, project developers etc.
• Leverage existing industry connections and establish new partnerships to expand the company's client base.
• Collaborate with internal functional groups to ensure seamless execution of company’s projects and delivery of high-quality services/products
• Identify and pursue collaboration opportunities with complementary businesses and organizations.
• Conduct financial analysis and feasibility studies for potential projects, assessing risks and returns.
• Collaborate with finance teams to structure competitive and financially viable proposals.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
• Provide regular reports to Vice President, Asia Pacific on business development activities, including key performance indicators and progress against targets.
• Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Additional duties as required.
