Diving Engineer
 
Contract period: 31.03.2025 - 30.08.2025
Location: Stavanger, Bergen

Main Tasks:
  • Support the Company with planning and execution of diving operations related to inshore or offshore projects and maintenance work 
  • Participation in relevant risk management meetings 
  • Follow up diving operations on site where required as Company’s representative 
  • Ensure that Company’s internal processes are followed when following up diving operations 

Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience with diving operations 
  • Good knowledge of different diving techniques and methods 
  • Knowledge and understanding of diving medicine, physiology, physics, and diving tables 
  • You must have basic knowledge of relevant national and international laws and regulations governing diving 
  • Be able to implement and manage HSE procedures and follow up internal TR regarding diving 
  • Good understand of the use of pressure chambers and breathing gases for diving operations 
  • Knowledge of various underwater task, such as welding, cutting, lifting, concrete construction, inspection, search operations, and operation of hydraulic and compressed air-powered tools 
  • Have basic knowledge of sub sea lifting techniques 
  • Good written and oral communication skills, both in English and Norwegian 
  • Be able to communicate requirements and show direction towards internal and external stakeholders
