About the Role As a Document & Data Controller, you will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and contribute to our client’s transition from a document-driven to a data-centric way of working. This is a newly created role reflecting the organization’s digital ambitions.

You will be responsible for monitoring, checking, and analyzing both structured and unstructured data and documents. You’ll ensure the quality, completeness, and consistency of information used across projects. You will also oversee data relationships, monitor workflow timelines, and support digital improvement initiatives.

Because our client is currently in transition, your tasks will also include quality checks on incoming documents, while progressively focusing more on data analysis and data control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret data files; identify and retrieve missing or inconsistent data.

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across systems.

  • Manage data relationships and monitor data update cycles in ThinkProject and other tools.

  • Control metadata from contractors and link data to the relevant project assets.

  • Perform complex data updates in systems, ensuring alignment with internal standards.

  • Support workflow development, draft user manuals, and participate in data quality initiatives.

  • Conduct quality checks on incoming project documentation.

  • Identify process bottlenecks, propose improvements, and support the Document Manager.

Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a document controller, data controller, or data analyst.

  • Strong analytical mindset, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and data integrity.

  • Proactive, structured, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Skilled communicator who is both persuasive and cooperative.

  • Strong skills in MS Office; experience with SharePoint and ThinkProject is essential.

  • Fluent in English; Dutch at B2 level is preferred.

  • Located within one hour commuting distance of Arnhem (Rijnpoort office).

Practical Information
  • Location: Arnhem (minimum 2 days/week onsite; Wednesday is mandatory). Hybrid work possible on other days.

  • Start date: After completion of pre-employment screening, including VOG (Certificate of Conduct).

  • ID requirement: Valid passport or ID card must be presented at the interview and on the start date.
