We are urgently hiring for a PERMANENT role to be based in QATAR.
Our Chemical client based in Qatar is looking to hire a "EDMS Document Administrator".
Document Administrator is required to handle & maintain the enormous amount of technical & plant documentation during the execution of Implementing Intelligent Electronic Document Management Systems Project with coordination and under supervision of Document Controller.

Document Administrator is required to handle & maintain the enormous amount of technical & plant documentation during the execution of Implementing Intelligent Electronic Document Management Systems Project with coordination and under supervision of Document Controller.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in document controlling / IT applications with specifics preferably in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry.
- Experience required minimum 15 years; experience required in multi discipline designs fields (Petrochemical & Oil/Gas Industries).
- Considerable knowledge in Electronic Document Management System & 3D Modelling.
- Experience required in reviewing / controlling the deliverables and coordinating with the contractor.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to lead, guide, and delegate tasks to Contractors.
- Organisational skills for planning out project objectives, schedules, and meetings.
- Experience required in Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) specifically OpenText AO Documentum application, 3D modelling specifically AVEVA application for their review, understanding, and correction / comments for all project related deliverables.
- Software knowledge should be in latest AutoCAD, PDSM, SP3D Laser Scanning etc. and performing digital administrative tasks
- Experience required in Petrochemicals Industries, Oil & Gas, site shops drawings, supervise contractor site survey, understand the redline markup drawings and designs office activities.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quality and Document Control group, ensuring the highest quality and compliance of all document management deliverables.
- Handled Technical and lifecycle management of procedural documents supporting business partner in the electronic document management system (3D Modelling & EDMS or equivalent).
- Collaborate with other members of the operations and IT groups, in support of the development and revision of procedural documents.
- Oversee the quality review and consistency checks applied across the department, ensuring accuracy and clarity of content within and across documents.
- Ensure the consistent use of the 3D/EDMS across the department.
- Handle resource planning across the procedural documents team and assignment of work to ensure documents are processed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Projects team to ensure seamless and efficient handover and user-friendly templates that align with the 3D/EDMS requirements.
- Resolve issues related to the 3D/EDMS, specific documents and document management practices in general.
- Manage and implements Consortium Project Documentation Management Plan according to the rules defined in the Project Documentation Management Plan.
- Manage Document Change Control process (assignment, tracking, closure) to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and current site practices.
- Coordinate with appropriate departments to ensure all applicable documents are reviewed and revised with the specified review and revision timeframes.
- Should verify AS-BUILT drawings in coordination with the contractor.
