Electrical/EITA Layout Engineer  
 
Contract period: 16.09.2024 - 31.12.2026
Location: Asker 


Main Tasks: 
- Design in 3D model using AVEVA E3D  
- EIT Layout Engineers working in detail engineering phase within the EIT disciplines. 3D-modelling and design for Oil and Gas topside.
- Modelling of cable ladders, offline instruments, lighting fixtures, socket, push buttons, junction boxes, cabinets, F&G detectors, telecom field equipment and EITA central and local equipment room etc.  
- Attend 3D discipline review meetings and resolve clashes in 3D model. 
- E3D Draft production of EITA Drawings.  
- Preparation of EITA bulk MTO’s (Material Take Off).  
- Interface internal, client, other disciplines, and fabrication Yard. 

Qualifications:
- Education Bachelor degree or Technical College combined with minimum 4 years’ relevant background.  
- Valid Ex- and FSE course (courses must remain valid for the entire duration of the assignment).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with EIT layout design in green field offshore and onshore projects, preferably within O&G projects.
- Experience and deep knowledge of EIT layout design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.  
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with 3D tool PDMS/AVEVA E3D. 
- Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English - Both orally and in writing.  
- Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment.  
- A natural team player but possesses the ability to work independently.  
- Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.  
- Proactive, seeking advice and sharing own experiences with others.  
- Innovative approach, eager to improve methodology and solutions through digital tools. 
- Ability to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards.
