Engineer - Commissioning - EIT/SAS

 
As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Engineer – Commissioning – EIT/SAS with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
This position is led from Verdal and is a rotation
 
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
What will you be doing?

• Develop detailed commissioning test procedures for assigned systems and provide input for others.
• Contribute to multi-discipline plant start-up and performance test procedures, governing documents, and work instructions for the execution phase.
• Define temporary systems, test equipment, special tools, consumables, and first fills, as well as evaluate commissioning and operation spares.
• Provide plan and budget input for your activities, and participate in: Design reviews and Vendor FATs and final inspections.
• System punch-out and MC handover activities.
• Prepare commissioning scope and work packages in PCS.
• Execute commissioning activities, including: Loop tests and start-up and performance test activities according to procedures.
• Manage PCS status updates, progress reporting, and change control (SWCR, Query, Documents).
• Supervise commissioning assistance and vendor personnel within your group.

 
Qualifications we think you should have

• Strong knowledge of work processes within the relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC processes within the New Build/Renewables segments.
• Software Skills: MIPS, MS Office 365, PCS (Pims, ProCoSys) and Autodesk Simulate
• Technical/Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent relevant work experience if lacking formal education).
