NES Fircroft is working with Woodside Energy seeking an Ethics & Compliance Advisor to join their team based in Perth CBD.

Job Title: Ethics & Compliance Advisor
Location: Perth CBD
Length of Contract: Initial 12 month contract
Hours: Monday to Friday (PART-TIME / School hours)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay / Experience: Mid to Senior level

 
This role sits within the Ethics & Compliance team, supporting global compliance initiatives.


 
Duties & Responsibilities:

 
  • Assessing, evaluating and risk-rating third parties prior to entering contractual relationships (e.g. suppliers, customers, social investment partners and other business partners). These assessments will include corporate risks such as anti-bribery and corruption, legal sanctions, bankruptcy & adverse media.
  • Gathering intelligence using Woodside’s due diligence systems and tools, as well as research using public sources to identify potential regulatory and reputational risks (e.g. sanctions, politically exposed persons, adverse media and litigation)
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders request further information, seek clarity and report and escalate adverse findings to the E&C team.
 

Skills & Experience:

 
  • A background in Auditing / Risk / Governance / Compliance / Accounting / Finance / C&P could be considered.
  • Must have a strong understanding of corporate structures and risk. 
  • High level of ethics on a personal level, and ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest levels.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work 3-4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
