Oil & Gas
- Has deep knowledge of manufacturing or assembling process of procured material or equipment with more complex engineered items
- Obtain the Supplier's planned schedule and monitor Supplier's actual progress and key milestones; update and periodically distribute the MSR (material status report) to the Business Unit client
- Monitor sub-Supplier progress if required for milestone payment purposes
- Periodically obtain verification from the Business Unit Client on the material ROS (required on site) date
- Confirm the Supplier's RTS (ready to ship) date when the Supplier nears order completion, and update the MSR
- Compare the ROS and RTS dates, and estimated transportation time, in order to ensure meeting the Business Unit Client's schedule
- Addresses unforeseen changes and impacts from both the Supplier and Business Unit Client perspectives
- Obtain a recovery plan from the Supplier for forecast late delivery and facilitate a multi-stakeholder meeting to develop solutions / resolution
- Liaise with Freight team to develop specific transportation plan and notify team and/or third party personnel as to the expected delivery date, freight provider, and relevant shipment details, including requirement for specialized unloading equipment as per Supplier recommendations
- Ensure team or third party personnel responsible for physical receiving have issued an MRR (material receiving report) without any OS&D (overage, shortage, or damage) items for personnel to electronically receive goods to enable Supplier payment
- If OS&D occurs, work with Supplier and team or third party personnel to resolve the issue
