We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Expeditor and Logistics Coordinator to oversee the efficient movement of materials and equipment required for project success. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Expediting

Expediting
- Collaborate with project manager, procurement teams, scheduler and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor and track purchase orders, shipping schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve delays, discrepancies, or quality issues.
- Maintain detailed records of project timelines, delivery milestones, and supplier performance.
- Plan, coordinate, and optimize the transportation materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulations regarding shipping, customs clearance, and handling.
- Develop contingency plans for unexpected delays or logistical challenges.
- Negotiate freight rates and select cost-effective transportation methods.
- Serve as the point of contact between stakeholders, including project teams, suppliers, and logistics providers.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and project status.
- Conduct regular status meetings to align teams and address project needs.
