We are looking for experienced Furnace Commissioner’s to work for a global client, on a high-profile project based in India.
The Furnace commissioner is responsible for the commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and guide/ advice final customer in maintenance furnace operation.
This role involves ensuring that all furnace installations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Days per week – 6

The Furnace commissioner is responsible for the commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and guide/ advice final customer in maintenance furnace operation.
This role involves ensuring that all furnace installations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety and Compliance :
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks and inspections.
- Oversee the installation of furnace systems to ensure proper setup
- Perform initial start-up and testing of furnace systems.
- Verify that all components are installed according to design specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct functional and performance testing of furnace systems.
- Calibrate controls and safety devices to ensure proper operation.
- Record and analyze test data to identify and resolve issues.
- Adjust the combustion systems
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in furnace systems.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Upgrade and retrofit existing systems for improved performance and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports on commissioning activities, test results, and maintenance work.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications.
- Provide clients with documentation and training on system operation and maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC, combustion systems, or related areas are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in CGL/CAL furnace commissioning.
Skills:
- Proficient in using testing and calibration tools.
- Strong understanding of heating systems, combustion processes, and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English level written and oral.
