For our client, a leader in Operations & Maintenance for large-scale renewable energy projects across global markets, we are recruiting an experienced Head of Technical Asset Management.

In this role, you will work directly with the company’s board, taking strategic responsibility for building and expanding the Technical Asset Management center. Your primary objective will be to scale existing operations to match the rapidly growing asset portfolio and lead the creation of functional teams, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the company’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the organizational framework for the department of technical specialists.
  • Design and enforce procedures and tools for efficient technical asset management.
  • Oversee the performance of solar and wind farms, identify issues, and initiate corrective actions for optimization.
  • Ensure real-time monitoring and collaborate with field service teams to minimize downtime and maintain system performance.
  • Conduct technical and operational analyses to optimize OPEX and CAPEX.
  • Prepare and present technical and operational reports.
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as system availability, production loss rates, and service contract performance.
  • Implement IT tools for effective data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Regularly engage with the department responsible for client relations to discuss technical performance and ensure contract goals are met.
  • Work closely with the Execution Department to drive operational efficiency and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with operational and financial teams to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Monitor industry trends and implement best practices in technical asset management within the renewable energy sector.
  • Lead modernization initiatives to enhance the efficiency and performance of renewable energy projects, minimizing risks for investors.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing technical assets within the renewable energy or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management systems (SCADA, CMMS), and KPI reporting.
  • Proven experience in team management and project leadership.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Fluent in English, with experience working in an international environment.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes.
