Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee scheduling and execution of daily, monthly, and annual fleet maintenance, ensuring timely completion of all vehicle and equipment inspections and repairs.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on company trucks, pumping, and off-road equipment.
  • Ensure mechanical work is conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records including maintenance reports, work orders, and permits.
  • Collaborate with Station Managers, Supervisors, and Dispatch to maintain service standards, manage equipment utilization, and schedule maintenance.
  • Provide guidance to the Operations division on mechanical issues and procedures.
  • Escalate unresolved equipment issues and assist in refining maintenance policies.
  • Actively participate in the company’s HSE program, contributing to continuous improvements and supporting new designs.
  • Mentor and train Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentices.
  • Perform field repairs as needed and participate in the on-call rotation.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of a relevant trade program (e.g., Alberta Heavy Equipment Technician, Saskatchewan Truck and Transport Mechanic, or State Automotive/Diesel Technology) with related experience.
  • Valid non-graduated driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physically able to lift up to 23 kg, and perform tasks involving bending, standing, and climbing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work overtime, maintain a flexible schedule, and travel as needed.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.

  • Valid Class 3 or 1 (Canada) clean driving record.
  • Previous oilfield experience.
