JOB DESCRIPTION: HR ADVISOR
Location: London, UK
12 month Contract
Department: Global People Management
Reporting To: Head of HR Operations
Must Have Right to Work in the UK
Purpose of the role:
Advising and managing the core business activity with respect to the mobilisation of international employees. Responsible for a specific region and act as a key focal point for Local HR within our subsidiaries and HR Management in HQ in relation to mobility activities.
Key responsibilities:
▪ Managing all aspects of the mobilization process, including also the lifecycle of the assignment(s) for new hires and current employees;
▪ Advising on company policy with regards to managing international employees;
▪ Ensuring adherence to UK & International Employment Law, as well as HR policies and procedures;
▪ Regularly checking payroll and expense reports as well as supplier invoices, ensuring readiness for further management approval;
▪ Ensuring employee files and trackers are kept up-to-date, as well as ensuring that our record-keeping and data-processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements and internal company policies;
▪ Initiating and managing internal and external services/suppliers, reporting KPI results across the delivery of providers and proposing continuous improvement ideas of such providers;
▪ Sharing knowledge across the global mobility field on subjects such as social security, tax, immigration, relocation and assignment management. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR and mobility best practices (including participating in industry conferences and company-approved training courses);
▪ Building strong working relationships across the wider business and with local subsidiary HR contacts, acting as a focal point for your assigned Business Unit in HQ as required.
Skills and competencies
▪ Proven experience as a HR Generalist and/or in a HR Operations role focused on global mobility;
▪ Good knowledge of UK and International Employment Law;
▪ Fluent level of English, knowledge of additional languages would be beneficial;
▪ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a wide range of international stakeholders;
▪ Ability to identify and prioritise actions, manage complex and ever changing workloads with strong attention to detail;
▪ Effective time management skills, planning and organisational skills;
▪ Ability to work independently as well as part of team, proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
▪ Relevant University degree (HR or similar) and/or extensive HR/Global Mobility experience

- 2/3 years' experience minimum in a global mobility role
- Candidate must have experience managing the end-to-end mobility process, not just smaller parts of it
- HR degree or similar is preferred
- Able to handle high workload, flexible, willing to meet business urgencies
- Soft skills: Effective communication, proactive, good organisation skills, good stakeholder management
- Fluent level of English. Knowledge of other languages would be a plus.
