NES Fircroft are working alongside an Energy company in Perth seeking a HR Coordinator to join their team.


Location: Perth CBD
Start Date: Permanent Staff role, start date November 2024
Roster: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8 hours per day
Flexibility: Some working from home flexibility
Pay rate: Negotiable
 
 
Key objective:
The HR Coordinator plays a key role in providing administrative support across various human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance and benefits. The role requires a highly organized individual with a strong ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality while supporting HR initiatives.
 

Accountabilities:
 

  • Prepare with job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and coordinating preemployment checks.
  • Prepare offer Letters and employment contracts.
  • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are smoothly integrated, including conducting orientations.
  • Serve as the First point of contact for employee inquiries and assist with resolving HR related issues.
  • Develop, prepare and implement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Update and maintain HR databases and Systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist in payroll processing by providing timely updates on employee status changes (New hires, terminations, etc).
  • Coordinate leave management including tracking annual leave, and other absences.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports related to HR Metrics such as turnover, employee satisfaction, and retention.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to employee information and company policies.
  • Track employee participation in training and ensure completion of mandatory programs.
  • Collecting and analysing facts about newsworthy events.
 

Education/ Experience Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in media relations and marketing strategy.
  • High level of English proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
