About our client:

Our client is a global leader in clean energy and an international leading wind turbine manufacturer. They deliver comprehensive renewable energy solution to the Australian & New Zealand markets, from planning through to operational and maintenance services. They are now looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor to support the finalising of onshore wind turbines. 

Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking an HSE Supervisor in North Queensland on a 2:1 roster to implement and carry out safety manual procedures on onshore wind development sites. You will be working alongside the National HSE Manager, HSE Administrator, and HSE Supervisor whilst liaising with external management and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out toolbox tools
  • Liaise with Site Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure safety procedures are being carried out correctly
  • Implement safety manual procedures and site work audits
  • Establish or maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders whilst on site
  • Perform routine site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify potential hazards
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents and corrective actions
  • Consistently review and update HSE policies and procedures to reflect best practices and lessons learned.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Onshore Wind projects is required
  • Heavy lift, Working at Heights, and Crane Operation experience is mandatory
  • Workplace Safety Audit certification
  • HSE Diploma is an advantage.
