Human Factors specialist

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Human Factors Specialist with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
The project is led from Bergen.
 
This is a 50% position.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
What will you be doing?

• Performance of human factors activities and production of required documentation, e.g: Function, Task & Workload analysis, qualitative HF risk evaluations, Safety Critical Task Analyses.
• Identification of Operational Barrier Elements.
• Other organizational/work process studies.
• Man-machine interface evaluations.
• Control room design evaluations (CRIOP analysis).

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Experience as a Human Factors specialist.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant subject.
• Ability to plan and facilitate necessary reviews and workshops.
• Good communication skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
