Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for Information Management and Data Architecture and execution of the design & delivery of digital solutions across our projects and businesses from consulting through project development, project(s) delivery, commercial operations of assets and maintenance of those. • Design and implement Information Systems Architecture to support capital project design and delivery and lifetime Asset Operation. • Ensure interim arrangements (necessary to support projects delivery whilst recognising how the project is evolving) are aligned with the intended end-result of a fully-functioning Information Systems Architecture. (e.g., using Engineering Partner or EPC solutions in advance of designing and implementing in-house ERP.) • Build capability and confidence across Information Systems and ensure compliance with these systems. • Experience in technical and commercial optimization for H2 and other low carbon molecule production – including optimization of sizing, storage and levelized cost of production Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organisation. • Conduct a thorough analysis of digitalisation and AI opportunities to assess feasibility and impact and develop a prioritised roadmap collaborate with internal stakeholders to define AI use cases, develop business cases, and secure buy-in for Digitalisation & AI initiatives and subsequently execute implementation. • Lead the planning and execution of Digitalisation & AI projects and workshops, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline and monitor and evaluate the performance of Digital & AI initiatives, tracking key metrics/assigned KPIs and providing regular updates to stakeholders. • Be accountable for the continued optimal operation of all digital solutions including interacting with any 3rd parties developing a full digital twin platform. • Stay informed about the latest developments in AI technology, industry trends, and best practices, incorporating insights into Digitalisation & AI strategy and roadmap.

Key Skills and Qualifications Required

• 10+ years of experience with evaluating, and implementing engineering software, ERP systems and Digital and AI based solutions and digital twin development and implementation in close collaboration with energy company and/or engineering contractors and operating assets • Proven experience in developing and implementing digital solutions within an energy company and/or engineering and asset management environment with a track record of driving successful outcomes • Track record of running ERP in ‘’live’’ phase, to support delivery of a major capital project. • Understanding of Digitalisation & AI technologies, including machine learning, GenAI, computer vision, and their applications in business • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen, with the ability to translate Digitalisation & AI concepts into actionable strategies and initiatives • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing complex projects from inception to completion • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results oriented approach to problem-solving • Commitment to ethical Digitalisation & AI principles and practices, with a focus on fairness, transparency, and accountability • Continuous learner mindset, with a passion for staying abreast of the latest developments in AI technology and industry trends
Preferred:

• Experience implementing integrated engineering platform solutions from Oracle / SAP / Microsoft / Hexagon / AVEVA / IBM / AspenTech • Experience integrating ERP and Engineering platform solutions and deploying APIs to create and provide analytics from data lakes • Experience in evaluating commercially available software solutions against customising or building solutions in house • Experience with systems development practices such as human centred design, agile product development, lean portfolio management, devops methods, OKR methodologies and other product development tools. • Experience of working with System Integrators and specialist vendors in systems delivery
