Instrumentation Material Engineer 

Scope of Services The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
  • Preparation of the technical bid dossier.
  • Monitoring of the supplier's technical documentation.
  • Preparation of datasheets / Requisitions.
  • Evaluation of supplier offers.
  • Preparation of TBT / TBE (Technical Bid Tabulation/Evaluation).
  • Preparation and follow-up of technical clarifications.
  • Sending/clarification of offers with other disciplines (Process / Piping material / Corrosion, etc.).
  • Organization of clarification meetings with suppliers.
  • Monitoring of quantities and modifications.
  • Updating of MASTER documents (P&ID, Official documents, etc.).
  • Formalization of feedback.
BASE DOCUMENTATION 
  • Project presentation
  • HSE booklet
REQUIRED SKILLS 
  • Mastery of instrumentation equipment specifics (flow measurement, control valves, ON/OFF valves, safety valves).
  • Mastery of applicable codes (API, IEC, ISA, ASME, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Office Pack software (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ACROBAT software for commenting on documents in ‘.PDF’ format.
  • Knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) software by HEXAGON as a user.
PROCEDURES - METHODOLOGY It will be essential to follow the project rules, best practices, and Quality Assurance procedures applicable to this project.

QUALITY OF PRODUCED DOCUMENTATION The documents produced by the CONTRACTOR must meet the required quality based on the tasks defined above, particularly:
  • Technical quality.
  • Content quality (related to the amount of information on a given document).
  • Presentation quality (related to graphics and readability of the produced document). All documents will be written in the contract language. The TECHNIP France operational correspondent for the specialty may perform all necessary checks to verify the quality of the produced documents and ensure compliance with deadlines without diminishing the CONTRACTOR's responsibility.
