- Programme Management: Leading the entire lifecycle of the IT programme, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Governance: Establishing and maintaining strong governance frameworks to ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Engaging with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment with programme objectives and to manage expectations effectively.
- Resource Allocation: Managing resources, including personnel and budgets, to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of programme objectives.
- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking and reporting on programme performance, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Managing relationships with third-party vendors and ensuring that deliverables meet the required quality standards and timelines.
- Change Management: Leading change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new technologies and processes within the organisation.
- Technical Oversight: Providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure that IT solutions are aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
- Documentation: Ensuring comprehensive documentation of all programme activities, including plans, reports, and lessons learned.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT programme management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale IT programmes.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Experience in managing IT programmes in the Oil and Gas industry or a similarly regulated environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong Team player with demonstrated ability in consensus building to ensure excellent stakeholder engagement, alignment and ethical decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Essential Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Desirable proficiency in Arabic and/or Kurdish.
