IT Project Engineer – 11 Months Contract - Monaco

Start Date February 2025 

Essential:-   Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, IT engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in managing and overseeing IT projects, including software development, infrastructure implementation, and system integration. Strong technical background with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex IT projects, including cloud environments, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project management processes, best practices, and standards to ensure project success, on-time delivery, and compliance with industry standards. Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Proficiency in using project management tools to plan, monitor, track, and report on project progress, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are met. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members to achieve project goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred.
 
JOB PURPOSE

As an IT Project Engineer, you manage and execute IT projects from planning to completion. Ensure technical solutions meet business requirements, oversee project timelines and budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful IT implementations.

 RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and participate in IT project development: Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Supervise technical teams:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product owners and UX designers, to ensure project requirements are accurately captured and met.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets: Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and ensure projects are completed within allocated budgets and timelines.
  • Implement best practices: Ensure adherence to IT project management best practices, including risk management, quality assurance, and change control processes.
  • Conduct technical reviews: Perform code reviews, unit tests, and system integration tests to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Mentor team members: Provide training and support to less experienced colleagues, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues: Identify and resolve technical challenges encountered during project execution, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
Certifications such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), PMP (Project Management Professional), or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, demonstrating expertise in IT project management.
Master's Degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
