Job Title: ITC Project Manager
Location: Basra, Iraq
Rotation: 21/21

Role Synopsis:
The ITC Project Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead & deliver a stage-gated process and coordinate input from project team members for project evaluation and execution.
  • Manage and report project Budgets, Schedule, Change Control, Scope, KPI’s Dashboards, Activity Boards, Action Trackers and Risk Registers
  • Interface with project stakeholders to ensure alignment of project Activities &Deliverables.
  • Capture, communicate and apply lessons learned and best practices.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Work with the Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Project Team to identify and effectively mitigate HSSE risk.
  • Demonstrate behaviours which promote a safe and environmentally responsible work process in all aspects of the job. 

Criteria  &Qualifications:
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s  degree  in Information  Technology,  Computer  Science,  Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Management or equivalent.
  • Willingness and ability to work within HQ in a rotational work pattern.
  • English and Arabic fluency.
  • Minimum of 5 years IT project delivery experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrable  skills in:  Scheduling,  Task  Management,  Stakeholder Engagement, Budgeting, Reporting, Problem Solving & Risk Management.
  • Knowledge of and certification in a formal project management framework such as PMP or other PMI accreditation.
  • Experience using SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Project, Azure Devops or similar planning tool.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Nice to have:
  • Master’s degree or other post graduate education in the field of IT or business management.
  • Certifications in ITIL and other technical specialization are highly regarded.
  • Analytical and data interpretation skills, performance management and service management experience.
  • Familiarity with reporting & dashboard applications such as: MS Planner, MS Project, DevOps, PowerBI & SmartSheets
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and services.
  • Strategic mindset and process driven with attention to detail
