Our Chemical client based in Qatar is looking to hire a "LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT SENIOR SPECIALIST".
Position: - LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT SENIOR SPECIALIST
The L&D Senior Specialist is responsible for assessing training needs, creating and delivering training modules in collaboration with external vendors. They monitor training utilization, foster a culture of continuous learning, and support the management of the Qatarization program to enhance the professional growth of Qatari nationals. Additionally, they participate in preparing performance reports for the L&D division and budgeting activities.

Position: - LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT SENIOR SPECIALIST
The L&D Senior Specialist is responsible for assessing training needs, creating and delivering training modules in collaboration with external vendors. They monitor training utilization, foster a culture of continuous learning, and support the management of the Qatarization program to enhance the professional growth of Qatari nationals. Additionally, they participate in preparing performance reports for the L&D division and budgeting activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Professional Certification in Learning & Development (e.g., CCIPD level 5 in L&D) would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human resource management with experience in Learning & Development.
- Assess training needs by collecting training requirements from heads of departments and performing prioritisation based on the approved training budget.
- Create and deliver training modules in collaboration with external L&D vendors: articulate requirements to the vendors, track their progress, ensure the quality of training content, and gather as well as implement feedback for continuous improvement of training delivered.
- Monitor training utilization to ensure optimal usage and learner experience, incl. tracking learner progress, course completion rates, attendance and actively seeking feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a learning environment by actively promoting e-learning, self-learning, blended learning, coaching & mentoring programs to create and sustain a learning environment & culture in support of the development of job skills and core workplace skills such as leadership, creative thinking, problem solving and knowledge sharing.
- Develop and execute career & development plans for Qatari developees, ensuring their professional growth, successful completion of the program and transition to permanent employment
- Support the development of the annual L&D budget to ensure optimal distribution the funds across various departments and alignment with organizational training objectives and priorities.
- Actively participate in the preparation of the L&D division’s performance reports by gathering relevant data, ensuring its accuracy, and presenting it in a clear and concise manner
