JOB DESCRIPTION · Organizational entity: Maintenance and Inspection - Field Operations JOB TITLE Material coordinator SITUATION IN ORGANIZATION · Reporting to Lead, Recovery and Sustainability Project N+1· Head, Maintenance Recovery and Project Readiness department N+2 Position has no direct reports/ subordinate’s positions ACCOUNTABILITIES · Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental standards during allmaterial handling and logistics activities.· Manage the logistics and pre-work coordination for material deliveries, ensuring all materials areavailable on time for offshore and onshore projects.· Collaborate with project teams to ensure materials meet the requirements specified in work orders.· Monitor material availability for ongoing projects, proactively addressing shortages and ensuringseamless project execution.· Liaise with procurement and warehouse teams to track materials, manage backorders, and sourcealternative materials when required.· Assist in coordinating materials for Recovery and Sustainability Project, supporting fabricmaintenance, other backlog workorder.· Ensure that all materials are stored and handled in compliance with safety regulations, minimizingrisk during transportation and storage. JOB DIMENSIONS · Material Coordination: Oversee material coordination for multiple maintenance and operationalprojects, including fabric maintenance and coating, ensuring material availability aligns with projectschedules.· Logistics: Manage material shipments both offshore and onshore, ensuring all necessary safetyprocedures are followed.· Backlog Management: Ensure timely tracking and reporting of backlog work orders, actively pursuingsolutions for back-ordered materials.· Work Order Review: Monitor and review work orders to ensure that all material requirements aremet.· SAP Proficiency: Maintain a high level of expertise in SAP PM and MM modules for work ordermanagement, inventory control, and procurement.· Interdepartmental Liaison: Act as a liaison between procurement, warehouse teams coordinatingefforts to resolve material issues and streamline project progress. ACTIVITIES NOC-C-601(v.2) 125 [insert the reference number] HSE· Ensure all material handling, storage, and logistics activities comply with company HSE policies.· Participate in risk assessments and ensure that job safety analyses related to material handling areprepared in a timely manner.Organization· Participate in kick-off and preparation meetings for project material requirements.· Coordinate with project teams to ensure material readiness in line with project schedules andrequirements.· Ensure alignment between material availability and work order timelines, updating key stakeholderson material status.· Prepare and manage material coordination for various phases of the project, ensuring smooth andefficient supply chain management.Work Preparation· Review and coordinate material requisitions for work packs, ensuring the availability of materials formaintenance, inspections, and repairs.· Prioritize material requirements to align with project schedules and minimize downtime.· Ensure that all materials are accurately recorded in the SAP system and tracked throughout theproject lifecycle.Logistics, materials, contracts· Oversee the inspection of incoming materials and ensure they meet required specifications.· Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely material delivery, ensuring the seamless flow ofmaterials for ongoing projects.· Track material availability in coordination with the warehouse team.· Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure that service orders are processed, and contractsare in place to support ongoing material needs. CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT · Position is in a OPCO (JV) operating Oil & Gas facility with offshore/onshore (non-producing) sites,based offshore, Doha, Qatar.· The position is part of the permanent team and is onshore rotating (28d/28d).· Trip to onshore and visit to OEM/service company workshop are required on ah-hoc basis. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED · BSc or Graduated engineer or with relevant industry experience in Oil and Gas operations· Advanced skills and knowledge of Campaign/Shutdown Management techniques preferably in thepetrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration and / or production industries.· Advanced skills on scaffold erection, fabric maintenance, drawings, rope access and knowledge onpainting / coating· Awareness / basic use of planning software tools i.e. Primavera P6, MS Project.· Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills required.· Solid leadership skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplined and multi-cultural environment.· Fluent in English (listening, writing, and speaking) and its technical vocabulary.· Self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision.· High level user of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP.
