JOB DESCRIPTION:
Routine maintenance of centrifugal pumps and electric motors such as bearing and seal replacements, alignments, couplings, sumps, fans, drain piping modifications, etc.
Maintenance on other mechanical equipment such as block valves, control valves, air compressors, valve actuators, etc.
Maintenance and repair of reciprocating engines and associated components. Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, valves, and other equipment as needed, including foundation work, initial alignment, testing, and startup.
Reviews procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements.
Properly completes records of time and required regulatory reports.
Performs remedial and preventative maintenance and maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices inside and outside of the facilities.
Schedule:
7/7 - required to be on-call while on rotating schedule.
40-50hrs a week; mostly routing engine and compressor maintenance.
1 to 2 compressor unit PM’s. Response to morning reported unit troubles.
Call outs typically consist of wiring issues, occasional hot valve replacement. Potentially break fix maintenance, large break can sometimes lead to longer days depending on gas flow needs.
