Mechanical Completions Manager


Location
Norwich – Hornsea 3
 
Role Objectives
Site Completion Planning.
  • Review contractual requirements applicable to Mechanical Completion with the support of Completion Manager
  • Review and understand the completion Process and set-up for the site.
  • Identify the site MC activities for the project
  • Review lessons learnt from previous projects and relevant project plans (e.g SQP, SMP, Completion Plan)
  • Review Contractor Quality Plans
  • Based on reviews and discussion with stakeholders identify and follow up risks and mitigations to ensure
we fulfill Completion expectations
  • Educate site personnel in the completion system at site with the support of the completion manager.
  • Execute and follows up the Quality Plans, master test plan and completion system status for site activities
as required.
  • Execute Site MC strategy/Plan for the project
  • Coordinate and manage the MC/QC activities towards the time schedule and the different contractual milestones
  • Support with Access for the site team to the MC tool
  • Send notification for Inspections and compile required documents
o Inspection Notification for MC Walkdown
  • Raising of Punches in Completion tool from inspections
  • Extracting Punches and sending to relevant parties for actions
  • Reviews the complete MC/Quality documentation provided
  • Update the MC Tool with all the information required regarding MC activities
  • Weekly reporting of MC / Punch Items / Quality Records Status
  • Raise deviation in QIT
  • Ensure Compilation of permanent Quality records on time
  • Takes part in quality meetings with Customer, contractor
 
  1. Qualifications
  • Technical / engineering / quality management education – minimum bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ year construction site experience or in operations
  • Power or energy industry experience
  • Track record and proven capability in Change Management, managing internal project/program in large and complex organization
  • Capacity to communicate, result oriented, speed in execution, openness and listen to others
  • Test coordination experience
  • ISO9001 knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience on construction codes / standards
  • Computer skills and previous experience of completion systems
