The NES Fircroft Chicago office is seeking candidates immediately to join a global oil & gas organization at their brand new petrochemical complex in Monaca, PA as they are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor. This would be one year contract with opportunity for extension or fulltime employment. The individual would be responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating maintenance activities for craft and trades personnel on the production units for the night shift. This includes the safe execution of all fieldwork in a safe and cost-efficient manner and ensuring knowledge and compliance of all site policies and procedures for any employee performing work in their area of responsibility.

Hours: Night Shift M-F—40 hours per week (occasional OT may be needed).
Duration: 1 year with possibility for extension or fulltime employment
Pay: $90-$100/hr. depending on experience + monthly living stipend for candidates that qualify.

Job Responsibilities
- Model safety conscious behavior and ensure that all work is performed safely. This is to be done by ensuring all workers understand their responsibilities and work according to established procedures. The supervisor is to spend time in the field auditing work and identifying hazards before a job begins and perform pre-job reviews, safety huddles, and other needed reviews when appropriate to facilitate safe work. Complete, track and report all necessary documentation per refinery policies and procedures.
- Coordinate all Maintenance activities for your area of responsibility. Collaborate with personnel across the refinery in Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, and other groups as needed to ensure work is done safely maximizing utilization of the process equipment and minimizing expenses.
- Lead the Maintenance effort in achieving compliance with all Environmental regulations. Ensure compliance with all guidelines for the handling and disposal of all types of waste material.
- Provide leadership for profit improvement initiatives. Implement best practices. Increase workforce effectiveness and productivity. Support the overall Maintenance effort in the Refinery with coordination with other Maintenance Supervisors concerning resources.
- Aid the entire Maintenance organization which may include Turnaround Support across the Refinery and assistance in any other areas of the Refinery where requested and needed, for workforce, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure budget compliance during Routine, Non- Routine, and T/A and Shut down activities, by monitoring and controlling overtime, equipment rental.
- Control and monitor mechanical integrity through preventative work orders and assure these are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure compliance of mechanical integrity programs. Lead the Area Maintenance effort to improve mechanical reliability. Solicit input on improvement opportunities.

Job Qualifications
- Must have 10+ years of Maintenance Supervisory or equivalent experience.
- Must have at least 5+ years of experience within oil & gas refining, petrochemicals, or other relevant industrial experience.
- Must have previous experience managing trades and crafts personnel.
- Must have extensive knowledge of piping and mechanical processing equipment.
- Previous experience interfacing between the plant owner and EPC would be a big plus.
- Candidates local to the Pittsburgh, PA region would be a big plus.
