Offshore Brownfield Construction Lead

• The job is to work onshore in Qatar, it is a residential job role onshore, with visits offshore , the project is a offshore related  project.
• Looking for candidates with excellent offshore project expereince.
• Work hours per day: 10 hrs./day
  Work Days per Week: 6 days/week
  Work day per Month: 26 days/month
  Qatar, Onshore (75%) Offshore (25%)
  

 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Equvivalent
 Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an
offshore medical evaluation. OPITO certification is considered a
plus.
 Ability to work on or be based on offshore platform or vessel.
Knowledge and/or Experience

Knowledge and/or Experience

 Minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years demonstrated
experience including engineering, fabrication, construction and
installation in major capital projects – especially in BF scopes
 Extensive experience with brownfield project execution both from
Contractor and Client organizations as well as strong leadership
qualities.

Technical and Business Skills

Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved
in the Offshore projects. It is an advantage if you have experience
from Clients Completion philosophy.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on
teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
 Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications
and a working knowledge of Industry standards.
 A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English, Computer
literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications
and some technical applications.


Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

 As part of COMP8a brownfield construction management team, led by the
Head of Brownfield Construction, directly involved with the development of
BF construction plans and offshore execution of the plans by discharging
COMP8a offshore BF construction scope responsibilities and duties safely,
efficiently and effectively
 Ensure there is quality, effectiveness and consistency in the BF construction
processes, systems, procedures, and work products – while adhering to
established Operations systems, processes and procedures (e.g., SIMOPS,
Work Management System, PTW, etc.)
 Ensure that there is sufficient and balanced resources and technical
expertise available to support the stakeholders, efficiency in resource
deployment to support the stakeholders’ activities
 Manage multiple internal and external interfaces across QatarEnergy LNG
and Shareholder organizations and EPC Contractors - require effective
communication, initiative, flexibility, and collaboration
