Our client, oil and gas operator, currently requires an Onshore Logistics Co-ordinator to join the team in Aberdeen.
Responsible for assisting in the planning, scheduling and delivery of all materials to meet operational requirements.
Role Summary
Logistics focal point for mobilisation of material / operations for UKCS activity.

• Onshore Warehouse(s)
Key responsibilities, tasks and activities
• Management of Logistics cargo management tool (KABAL) from
point of cargo collection to delivery offshore and return. Monitor
backload/redelivery manifests, reconcile and check/tidy/sort
backload inventory in KABAL
• Liaise with Marine Coordinator to utilise vessel fleet with focus on
safety and efficiency.
• Focal point and SME for KABAL between client, supply base and
vendors.
• Manage Extra Supply process when material is required outside cut
off deadline
• Produce and issue Daily logistics plan (lookahead)
• Manage NCR database in KABAL and assist with follow up to close
out.
• Contribute to expediting and closing of KABAL enhancement
requests. Liaise with end users and facilitate communicate with
service provider.
• Ensure all materials are moved in line with Company procedures and Legislative requirements
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders both on and offshore
to ascertain requirements and schedule vessels to suit. This shall
include cargo requirements, vessel routing and cargo prioritisation
and shall make the most efficient use of vessels.
• Coordination of cargo requirements (deck, under-deck, drilling
chemicals, fuel, water and bulks) for offshore installations/rigs.
Assist DSR with coordination of requirements.
• Closely monitor all 3rd party rentals ensuring cost effective use and
movement of equipment.
• Continuously promote a proactive HSEQ culture, ensuring
participation and compliance.
• Build effective relationships across the business continually seeking
to improve operational efficiency and identify cost savings.
• Present a positive image of the Company through first class service
delivery and behaviour in accordance with values.
• Proactively assist both Customer and colleagues, undertaking adhoc duties as required.
Critical Skills and Behaviours
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar role preferred
• Previous experience of logistics support to the offshore Oil and Gas
industry
• Comprehensive understanding of Materials & Logistics processes to
include base/quayside, marine and aviation activities. Expediting
knowledge and experience also advantageous.
• Strong user of Excel and experience in SAP RLM/MM/PS modules
• Offshore experience and up to date certification desirable but nor
essential
• Analytical thinker and good problem solver
• Have a compliance focused mindset and continually strive for
excellence
• Excellent team player
• Ability to deliver on Company values and live by “I am Safety”
expectations
