Operation Support Engineer Front-end web developer
 
Contract period: 03.02.2025 - 30.12.2025
Location: Stavanger

Main Tasks:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code keeping architecture constraints.
  • Drive the adoption of modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Identify and address technical challenges and bottlenecks.
  • Implement/maintain cross-platform solutions using Flutter. 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication and teamwork abilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in front-end web development.
  • Proficiency and hands on experience with React and Typescript in large-sized code bases.
  • Hands on experience with cross platform development using React Native /Flutter.
  • Practical usage of SOLID principles in React and Typescript.
  • Solid knowledge of build tools and CI/CD process.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools and experience in writing unit and integration tests.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git),
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimisation techniques, including code splitting, lazy loading, and caching strategies.
  • Experience with DevOps/Agile practices and tools.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for building accessible web applications.
  • Hands on experience with PWA.
  • Experience with UI/UX design tools (e.g. Figma) and the ability to translate design specs into functional components.
  • Experience working with React query, MUI is a plus.
  • Participating in WYSIWYG editor development is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
