We are working with our leading utilities client, seeking a People Partnering Specialist to join them on an initial 6-month contract. This role will be based in Leederville.

About the role:
  • Working in conjunction with the Manager People Partnering as part of a project team lead by the transformation office and providing HR support as required. This will involve engaging specialists within the People team as well as senior leaders and managers within the business.
  • As part of the project team, provide input into the planning and design of the proposed new organisational structure and impacts where relevant.
  • Redefine and create job roles and responsibilities as per the new structure ensuring new job descriptions reflect new and altered capabilities, responsibilities, experience and reporting lines.
  • Utilise employee data to inform decision-making related to restructuring and resource allocation;
  • Identify potential risks during the restructuring process, in particular employee or industrial relations risks;
  • Evaluate impacts by conducting an impact analysis to evaluate the potential effects of the proposed organisational restructure ensuring any potential employee relations risks are identified.
  • Ensuring proposed changes are compliant with the Enterprise Agreement.
  • Manage any talent mapping processes required and/or create fit for purpose and legally compliant application processes.
  • Work with the project team to design and implement the consultation process, setting up channels for employees to provide feedback, FAQ's etc.
  • Supporting leaders and impacted employees with redundancy and redeployment conversations and managing the overall process.
