Role Synopsis
This role will have the opportunity to contribute in a positive way that will help build a sustainable future for the client and the people of Iraq.
The Performance Manager (PM) is a pivotal role in the operations organization that reports to the Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) Manager. The principal accountability for the role is Performance management and strategic integration of activities and delivery. Success in the role is dependent on a dynamic, rigorous, and comprehensive management of stakeholder interfaces across Operations organization.
The PM is expected to model the clients Leadership Expectations, Values & Behaviours and Mindsets necessary to deliver the best development concepts in support of business strategy and the priority of safe design and quality build.
Key Accountabilities
Essential Education
Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline., MBA preferred
Essential experience and job requirements
Experienced in the management of multi-discipline leadership team, holding team and stakeholders to account for performance, and vertical influence both up and down the organization.
Experienced in contract development and management, contractor performance management and strategic contracting model development.
Experienced in finance management, budget planning and financial reporting.
Experienced in workings of operations functions, e.g. Production Operations, Engineering, Reliability & Maintenance.
Deeply experienced in performance management systems, reporting systems, change management and continuous improvement delivery and implementation.
Deep analytical capability with ability to derive relationships and outcomes from ‘grey’ data and draw out key messages quickly.
Experienced mentor and skillset associated with the professional development of the team and individual personnel.
Detailed knowledge of strategic and functional planning.
Experience in most of world environments is preferred.

Key Accountabilities
- Leadership of a team charged with the performance management and continuous improvement of the M&E department, challenging results, and identifying areas for development across multi-discipline interfaces.
- Management of direct reports including Planning, Contract Manager, Finance and Performance and data lead.
- Interface management of key stakeholders and service providers external to the M&E department. Accountable for the development, delivery and communication of key M&E department performance and periodic reports, including plans/schedules, annual budget definition, annual operating plans, and management information.
- Accountable for analysis of systems and process health, continuous improvement of processes and elimination of those that do not add value.
- Responsible for surveillance of Contract health and Contractor performance, support to contract accountable managers, support to contractor interface processes and development and maintenance of contract strategies.
- Drives standards and efficient utilization of data, visual data management tools and reporting
Essential Education
