Pipeline Engineer
 
Contract period: 05.01.2025 - 30.12.2027
Location: Stavanger or Oslo

Main Tasks:
  • By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in and be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of pipelines. 
  • Follow-up of relevant contractors. 
  • Screening, concept development and early-phase studies for new projects. 
  • Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements. 
  • Tendering and evaluation activities. 
  • Preparation of technical documents for project sanction, studies, and contract tendering. 
  • Sporadic offshore work. 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree, however preferably master’s. Degrees in mechanical, marine or civil engineering are the most relevant. 
  • Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications. 
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience. Longer experience preferred. 
  • Background within Pipeline EPCI and/or Pipeline Commissioning. 
  • Good understanding of project development, and experience therein. 
  • Oral and written proficiency in English. Norwegian language proficiency is not a requirement.  
  • Team player. 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills. 
  • Ability to deliver results. 
  • Ability to lead others. Self-driven. Structured and systematic. 
  • Commercial mindset. 
  • High focus on safety, sustainability, ethics. 
  • Flexibility with regards to travelling in Norway and abroad and taking on sporadic offshore work. 
  • Interest in taking on expatriate positions.
